RECOMMENDATIONS

Send full tomography.

DICOM format without modifications.

The tomography should be as recent as possible (never exceed 6 months) to ensure anatomical correspondence.
Cuts: Axials
Area: Complete cranial perimeter and 1 cm margin.
Maximum cutting thickness: 1 mm
Maximum cutting spacing: 1 mm
Gantry tilt: 0º Bone and soft tissue filter.

Area: Complete pelvis with a margin of at least 1 cm to the middle of the diaphyseal region of the femur. If the patient has prostheses, include the entire region affected by the prosthesis. Include contralateral member.

Maximum cutting spacing: 1 mm
Gantry tilt: 0º Bone and soft tissue filter.
